Amber's Vintage Ltd was founded by Andrew and Connor in July 2018. We bought a double decker bus (which featured in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban!) and converted it into a stylish pop-up bar within 12 months.
Our unique conversion has restored the original body of the bus, while the inside has been completely stripped out and replaced with a premium quality hardwood-look floor, reupholstered seats, amber strip lighting and a genuine copper bar.
We have installed a side hatch to allow external access to our internal bar and we have created a large chilled cellar behind a false wall to keep our drinks at the optimum temperature.
The Amber Bar Bus provides a quirky yet cosy drinking environment, with a vintage aesthetic that nods to the Speakeasies of the 1920's. Our low ceilings and narrow walkways are stylishly offset against a colour palette of Dark Wood, Copper, Amber and Eucalyptus.
We serve vegan friendly beer, wine and fizz on tap as well as a range of bottled beers and soft drinks. Our London Lager and London Pale Ale are locally sourced from Meantime Brewing Company, while our Pinot Grigio and Frizzante (the original style of Prosecco) are imported by the keg from small family run vineyards in Italy.
Environmental impact is important at Amber's Vintage and we aim to be more environmentally friendly where possible. Importing by the keg is not only super fresh but greatly reduces our carbon footprint. Our plastic disposables are plant-based; made from renewable materials, and can be composted with food waste.
Catering for Kent, South East London and the surrounding counties, the Amber Bar Bus is available for private hire and will be appearing at a number of festivals and events over the next 12 months.
Whatever the occasion... hop on board The Amber Bar Bus!
